This job illustrated an amazing transformation from an unused space to an incredible outdoor living environment. A natural gas firepit was constructed with chocolate flagstone and locally harvested malapais veneer. The firepit is centered on a chocolate flagstone patio. A level area was enclosed with landscape timbers and a thick layer of soft fall wood chips was installed to accommodate a safe childrens’ playground area. A water feature was constructed with locally harvested malapais accented with perennial flowers and shrubs to create movement and a natural ambiance. The clients are enjoying relaxing in the beauty of the landscape. A big thank you to Ed Dunn at ED Studio for capturing these images.
